Subaru’s 2024 vehicle lineup is in it to win it, delivering an impressive collection of crowd pleasing cars, SUVs, and crossovers yet again. But don’t take our word for it. Read on to learn more about the best Subaru vehicles on offer in 2024.

The 2024 Subaru Outback

There’s no mistaking a Subaru Outback.1 Is it a car? Is it a station wagon? Or is it a crossover SUV? In truth, it’s all of those things, and a little more. Equally suited for road trips and daily commutes, the Outback drives like a sedan while offering many of the features SUV crave like standard all-wheel drive and a spacious interior that’s as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing.

The 2024 model offers potential buyers two powertrain options, including a 182-hp 2.5 liter flat-four cylinder engine and a 260-hp turbocharged 2.4 liter engine. The former delivers an estimated 33 mpg on the highway while you can expect the latter to deliver approximately 30 mpg on the highway.

Other notable standard features include dual-zone climate control, two 7.0-inch touchscreens, and a range of on-board safety features including EyeSight driver-assistance technology, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning.

The 2024 Subaru Forester

For those who prefer a more familiar form factor, there’s the 2024 Subaru Forester.2 The Forester is a traditional crossover SUV in both size and shape with an economical price tag. As you’d expect from anything attached to a Subaru hood ornament, this compact crossover performs exceptionally well on and off-road, and comes standard with all-wheel drive.

It isn’t the most powerful compact SUV on the market, though it is comfortable and loaded with standard features. There really is a lot to like here, from the dual-screen infotainment system, to the ergonomically satisfying interior seats, to the impressive menu of standard driver assistance and safety features. The 2024 Subaru Forester stands tall in the ultra-competitive crossover SUV segment.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek

It may seem like the whole world is running towards crossover SUVs, but Subaru lovers can’t get enough of the Crosstrek. Far and away the best-selling model in Subaru’s garage, the Crosstrek combines the functionality of a crossover SUV with a much lower profile.

The 2024 Crosstrek offers buyers two powertrain options including a 152-HP 4-cylinder base model that boasts a combined fuel efficiency of 29 MPG.3 As expected, all Crosstrek models are backed by an impressive 3-year basic warranty and a 5-year powertrain warranty.

It comes standard with all wheel drive, and is loaded with enough standard safety features to earn it a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Add to that an economical MSRP and excellent resale value, and it’s no wonder that the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek holds it’s spot as an undisputed fan favorite.

The 2024 Subaru Ascent

Billed as a three-row crossover, the Subaru Ascent is built for those who love the brand and need a little more leg room.4 As you might expect, the Ascent comes standard with all wheel drive and includes all of the standard safety features we touched on above like automatic emergency braking and EyeSight Driver Assistance technology.

Though buyers can choose between a total of six trim packages, all of them are constructed around a turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain that delivers 260-hp and 26 mpg on the highway. The Ascent is all about comfort, and boy does the interior deliver that in spades, with enough room to seat 8 passengers and enough tech to keep all of them entertained until you reach your destination.

The 2024 Subaru WRX

The WRX is a performance-first sedan, and the specs on the latest 2024 model prove it. The 4-cylinder, 2.4 L base engine boasts a whopping 271-hp and delivers an estimated fuel efficiency of 22 mpg combined.5

Its premium offerings are no slouch either. The 2024 WRX comes standard with an 11.6-inch display, performance tires, painted alloy wheels, as well as a wide range of comfort and convenience features including a rear view camera, dual zone climate control, adaptive cruise control and more.

The 2024 Subaru BRZ

Last, but certainly not least, we have the awe-inspiring Subaru BRZ.6 This rear-wheel drive coupe delivers sporty performance at a price point that has the other guys scratching their heads. Powered by a 228-hp flat-four engine and complemented by its lightweight construction, the 2024 Subaru BRZ can go from 0-60 in only 5.5 seconds.

As if that’s not enough, this peppy little roadster is loaded with modern amenities as well. It comes standard with a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s outfitted with physical knobs and buttons, and includes all of the safety features you’ve come to expect from a Subaru. Buyers with a little more room in their budget can upgrade to the tS trim, which includes upgraded brakes, an improved suspension system, aluminum wheels and more.

Always Ready for Adventure

The ornament on the hood of the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek symbolizes adventure, performance, safety and reliability. The pride of Japanese auto-manufacturing, Subaru has been moving people and the industry forward since the 1960’s. They aren’t hitting the breaks any time soon either.7

Subaru continues its storied legacy with a satisfying menu of adventure-ready cars, SUVs, wagons, and crossovers. The 2024 lineup builds on the Japanese automaker’s reputation for delivering safety, performance, and off-road functionality once again. From the iconic Outback, to the fan-favorite Outback, to the spacious Ascent, Subaru truly has something for everyone.

Having said that, there’s only so much a driver can glean about a new vehicle from pictures and words. Indeed, to know Subaru is to love Subaru, but the only way to truly get to know them is by getting behind the wheel and hitting the gas. So, what are you waiting for? Reach out to a local Subaru dealership today and schedule a test drive today. But be warned, when it comes to Subaru, you may never want to drive another brand again.
